Amsterdam

Day 2 - 19th September

overcast 18 °C

GPS. A little more difficult than the rest of Europe for navigation. Like I said before, a wrong turn can cost you. Lot’s of dead ends and canal crossings that lead nowhere. Vic had her sights firmly on the shopping district. That’s all she needed to know and I have a feeling she didn’t need a map to get us there. Some sort of weird freakish shopping sense… scary. Somewhat like a goose flying south for winter. How the hell does it know which way to fly? Vic knows…

Shopping day. Yep payback comes in many forms. Vic’s always comes in the form of a receipt and a bag. Funny that. She is on fire too. Everything she picks up looks great on her. Now to fake an emergency. My stomach is playing up, I feel really light headed and need to go back to the hotel… unfortunately, all I got was ‘Suck it up, Princess’

Thai. Even though we are heading to Singapore for a few days, we felt like an Asian inspired meal. Something a bit light and fresh. Pretty good too. Tom yum could have been hotter. Apparently the dutch are not big on spice.

Red Light district II. Back for another look. Vic appeared more fascinated than me. Still amazed by the girls in windows. Couldn't bring myself to do the shows with Vic. Might save that for the bucks party! Very seedy at night... time for bed.
